The theme to the foundation is standing in the gap for the needs of the people. One great need across our land is that of affordable housing. Everywhere I go, despite how the economy is going, I see new construction sites for luxury homes or apartments! Okay, that's all good and fine however, most of us can't afford a luxury anything! We just need a decent place to call home. I believe when you come home, you should be able to walk through the house naked if you want, but nowadays you almost have to have a roommate in order to pay the rent. It is our goal to make affordability possible. Simple apartments and houses for those who don't make much money. Communities allowing people to have a fresh start or get back on their feet and a safe place to raise their children. We want to make it easier for people to own a home. We want to make a dent in ending homelessness! We also know the concerns of many when it comes to helping the less unfortunate, the subject of drug use. We do not tolerate drug use. Everyone that moves into one of our communities will have to pass a drug screening. If someone was to come to us and tell us they use drugs in order to be helped they will have to sign up and attend a drug abuse program. Then they will be allowed in one of our transition locations.
